What to expect during your first visit:
At Massage Rescue we strive to achieve a high level of professionalism in order to guarantee your satisfaction and comfort. Below we have listed a few of our policies to create the ideal client-centered relationship.
Suggestions for booking your appointment:
Appointments are available every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday and on most holidays. I am unable to accept walk-ins. Advance reservations of at least 24 hours are suggested to assure that you get the appointment time you prefer.
I do occasionally have same day appointment openings available so you are of course welcome to call and l’ll do my best to accomodate you in or better yet use the on-line appointment booking button. You can use the on-line booking feature to schedule same day (with 2 hours notice) and it’s the surest way to get the appointment you want when you need it.
If you are a new client to this practice, I suggest that you call or use the contact form on the home page to arrange for a consultation, especially if you are experiencing chronic or acute pain and massage was recommended to you.
Your first appointment
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. As a new client, you will be asked to complete important paper work regarding your current and past health history. All client records are maintained confidentially and stored securely. The only exceptions are when either you give written consent for release of your records (for example to another health care provider), or if my office is compelled by a court order.
Your first visit may include a pre-treatment consultation during which we will discuss your health history and goals for the short term or long term. If necessary, physical assessments may be performed which are intended to help design an appropriate massage treatment for your needs. I can also address any questions or concerns you may have about the treatment.
Massage Rescue does not accept or bill insurance and full payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, check, or credit/debit cards (Visa, Master Card, Amex, and Discover). If you are paying with cash please have exact change. Returned check fees may be charged according to Florida law. Click here to see service fees.
Cancellation and Re-Scheduling Policy
Because your therapist reserves their time exclusively for your session, please give at least 24 hours notice for rescheduling to avoid paying the full value of the service. If you reserved your appointment through our online booking system, then your credit card may be charged for the late cancellation or missed appointment. If you have a pre-paid massage session, you may lose your scheduled session and the monetary value it represents.
Please consider that other people will be turned away for the time that is held for you. This policy will apply even if you made the appointment for the same day or are moving your time later in the same day. Emergencies are handled on an individual basis, at your provider’s discretion. We appreciate your understanding of the policy and appreciate your trust.
People wonder about if and how much to tip. Of course I appreciate knowing you think I’ve done an exceptional job. So instead of a gratuity, the best form of acknowledgement you can give is when you:
